The Woodbury office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking a litigation associate with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience to join our Labor & Employment practice group. RESPONSIBILITIES: Independently manage a litigation caseload by working cases from inception through resolution. Handle extensive discovery practice, court appearances and depositions. Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Qualifications:- JD from an ABA accredited Law School.
- Admitted to NY Bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 1-2 years litigation experience in general liability, commercial litigation and/or employment litigation.
- Experience developing strategy, drafting pleadings, taking/defending depositions, arguing motions and the capability of working independently.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication skills.
The total annual compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $125 ,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to base salary, Kaufman Dolowich offers an annual discretionary bonus, performance-based bonus, unlimited PTO, professional and client development and a full comprehensive benefits package.
