Job Details
- Handle all aspects of litigation from initial case assessment through trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations, advocating effectively to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and provide clients with sound legal advice.
- Draft and review key legal documents, including contracts, settlement agreements, and legal memoranda, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
- Collaborate with other attorneys to develop case strategies, assess risks, and recommend solutions to complex legal issues.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case progress, explain legal concepts, and address any concerns.
- Successfully manage multiple litigation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and interns, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Needed:
- Licensed to practice law in FL
- 4+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on construction and real estate law preferred
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
