About the Job
The Ft. Myers office of Kubicki Draper seeks an associate Attorney with 2+ years of insurance defense experience in Florida, preferably in the area of First Party Property.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions, respond to discoveries, and drive motions.
- Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements.
- Must be proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
- Communicate in a highly effective manner with colleagues and clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in litigation, particularly in the areas of Insurance Defense, 1st Party Property, and Third Party Property a plus

- Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
