Litigation Attorney - Insurance Defense - Kubicki Draper

The West Palm Beach office of Kubicki Draper is seeking an entry-level Associate Attorney. Prior insurance defense experience is preferred. There is potential for hybrid after 90 days.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Draft, review, and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery in cases involving catastrophic injury and bad faith claims.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Participate in meetings with clients and negotiate settlements.
• Prepare for and attend trials.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Adapt to and work efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense, personal injury, bad faith, and catastrophic injury, is preferred but not required.
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required
