Litigation Attorney - HumanHire

HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked national law firm to find a Litigation Attorney to join the firms growing team in NYC.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing and litigating complex cases, with a deep understanding of the nuances and challenges associated with product liability and toxic tort law.

• Location: Midtown NYC (Hybrid Schedule)

• Pay: $140-160K Base Salary plus Bonus
• Hybrid Flexibility: 2 days remote per week

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of product liability and toxic tort matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct thorough case assessments, including legal research, fact-finding, and evidence gathering.
• Develop and execute case strategies, including drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court, including taking depositions, arguing motions, and conducting trials.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and strategic advice.
• Counsel clients on legal rights, potential outcomes, and case strategy.
• Identify, retain, and work with expert witnesses and consultants to build a compelling case.
• Prepare and review expert reports and testimony.
• Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions with opposing parties, striving for favorable outcomes for clients.
• Evaluate settlement offers and advise clients on their options.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Litigation Attorney experience
• Experience with Product Liability and Toxic Tort (Preferred)
• New York Bar Admission
• Juris Doctor Degree
