We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. This position affords the opportunity to handle a broad range of litigation matters related to real estate and property law. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in litigation, with a strong emphasis on real estate and property matters, and a proven track record of client service and business development. As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for managing your caseload, as well as supporting others in our team, while serving our clients with the highest level of legal service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Handle a variety of real estate and property litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and manage discovery.
- Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
- Collaborate with our team to devise effective litigation strategies.
- Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest developments in law and in the legal industry.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be barred in the state.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of cases.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, legal research software, and case management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and deliver client-focused solutions.
- Strong track record of court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing deadlines.
- Writing sample and law transcript required.
