Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Birmingham, AL (In-office)
Salary: $58,000-$65,000

They are expanding their team and looking for dedicated professionals to join their Litigation department. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about litigation and eager to make a meaningful impact.
Litigation Legal Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, calendar management, and correspondence
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and agencies
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
- Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and other staff to facilitate case management
- Assist with trial preparation, including preparing binders, organizing exhibits, and managing logistics
- Minimum of 3 experience as a legal assistant (litigation experience preferred)
- Familiarity with litigation procedures and legal document formats
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
