Vaco is assisting a highly respected law firm specializing in complex litigation matters, committed to excellence and client success. They are expanding their team and looking for dedicated professionals to join their Litigation department. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about litigation and eager to make a meaningful impact.
Civil Litigation Paralegal
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, from inception through trial
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case strategies
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery responses
- Manage case files, organize evidence, and prepare exhibits
- Liaise with clients, witnesses, experts, and court officials to facilitate case progress
- Support attorneys during trials, including managing trial binders and exhibits
- Minimum of 3 experience as a litigation paralegal
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Paralegal certification or relevant degree is preferred
