Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive litigation support to our team of attorneys throughout the life cycle of a case, from inception through discovery, trial, and post-trial findings and appeals.
- Conduct thorough legal research and initial case assessments.
- Manage all aspects of document production and review, including E-Discovery.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and file them with the court.
- Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, setting up and managing trial files and exhibits, and coordinating trial logistics.
- Review and manage client files, maintain contact with clients on a regular basis.
- Assist with depositions, witness interviews, and court proceedings.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date case management system.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Proficient in E-Discovery, drafting pleadings, trial preparation, and e-filing.
- Strong knowledge of legal document preparation and contract review.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Paralegal certification from an accredited program is preferred.
- Must have a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
