Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys throughout the litigation process, ensuring all deadlines are met and cases are prepared for success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production of documents, requests for admissions), coordinating responses to discovery requests from opposing counsel, and organizing and maintaining discovery documents.

• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date witness lists, including identifying potential witnesses, gathering relevant information, and scheduling interviews.

• Create and manage trial lists, ensuring all necessary exhibits and trial materials are prepared and organized in accordance with court rules and deadlines.

• Assist attorneys with trial preparation tasks, including legal research, drafting motions and other legal documents, and preparing demonstrative exhibits.

• Maintain a strong understanding of court rules and procedures.

• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

• Manage deadlines and calendars effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal or in a related legal role.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with legal research databases is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
