Litigation Paralegal

Position: Full-Time Litigation Paralegal with Medical Malpractice Litigation Experience
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct legal fact-finding and basic legal research.
- Review and analyze new matters, including ordering medical and other records.
- Assemble, review, and summarize records.
- Assist with case management, including the preparation and organization of legal documents for depositions and trials.
- Organize and electronically file pleadings.
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of trial preparation.
- Coordinate and schedule calendars.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience in a law office; a nursing or comparable healthcare background is a plus.
- 5+ years as a Litigation Paralegal.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent research skills using LexisNexis or Westlaw.
- Possess excellent writing skills and a high level of computer proficiency.
