Shook has an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal to join our Class Action and Appellate practice group in San Francisco requiring travel. This paralegal position focuses on trial preparation and support. The chosen candidate will handle large document production, discovery, interviewing of witnesses and experts, drafting pleadings and subpoenaing records.
As a candidate, you will stand out by possessing:
* Minimum 3 years of litigation experience (with degree);
* Experience prepping for AND attending trial;
* A willingness to share knowledge and collaborate;
* Strong attention-to-detail demonstrated by work product.
The chosen candidate will be required to be in the office for the first 90 days for training. Upon successful completion of training, a hybrid schedule may be offered.
Ability to travel to attend trial is required.
The pay scale for this position in San Francisco is between $89,315 to $133,972 annually. Actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, area of expertise, and geographic/office location. The reasonable expected offer range would not be at the top of the position pay scale.

* Minimum one to two (1-2) years experience as a litigation paralegal;
* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and/or paralegal certificate/degree;
* Minimum six (6) years of experience if no degree nor certificate;
* OR equivalent combination of education and experience;
* OR a minimum of one year at Shook as a Staff Paralegal.
* Experience in all phases of trial and trial preparation including experience with large document production, discovery, interviewing of witnesses and experts, drafting pleadings and subpoenaing records required.
* Large-scale multi-party litigation preferred.
* Travel required.
