Position Overview: The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including drafting motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries of findings.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and updated.
- Manage discovery processes, including document review and production.
- Coordinate depositions, witness interviews, and trial logistics.
- Prepare and file court documents electronically and in person as required.
- Communicate with clients, experts, and other parties involved in cases.
- Maintain case calendars and track deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Computer/tech skills.
- Civil Procedure state and federal knowledge.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in litigation support.
- eDiscovery experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
