About the Job
We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our attorneys in all phases from case inception though trial and appeal.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with trial preparation, including coordinating witnesses, creating trial binders, and organizing exhibits.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, discovery requests and subpoenas.
- Gather relevant information from sources and conduct legal research.
- Perform duties such as maintaining calendars, processing billing and scheduling meetings.
Requirements and skills :
- Paralegal certificate.
- 3+ years in litigation (business and commercial litigation).
- Experience assisting in trials.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures and court rules.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Work independently and as a team in a fast paced environment.
