We are looking for an experienced Litigation Secretary for a well-established midsize Law Firm located in East Fort Lauderdale. The Firm represents entities that require legal representation in restructuring, contract disputes, and the defense of eminent domain proceedings. The position with support Attorneys in transactional and litigation matters.

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Secretary for a well-established midsize Law Firm located in East Fort Lauderdale. The Firm represents entities that require legal representation in restructuring, contract disputes, and the defense of eminent domain proceedings. The position with support Attorneys in transactional and litigation matters.
Your specific duties will include:
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings.
- Review of incoming correspondence and pleadings; calendaring of related deadlines, distribution of same to counsel and client(s) as necessary.
- Drafting and finalizing of correspondence and pleadings; electronic filing of pleadings.
- Monitoring of case deadlines to ensure compliance.
- Assisting with coordination, organization and verification of documentation received from third parties.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and ability to communicate with dignitaries and government officials.
- Experience with efiling, service, and rules regarding the same.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with electronic document management – Worldox preferred.
- Knowledge of Local and Federal Court Rules.
