Job Overview - LMSW, Clinical Supervisor:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join their healthcare team. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, training, and evaluation of direct care staff, as well as coordinating the delivery of social support services to all clients.
Location: Bronx, NY
Compensation: $60,000 $65,000/year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join their healthcare team. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, training, and evaluation of direct care staff, as well as coordinating the delivery of social support services to all clients.

Responsibilities as the LMSW, Clinical Supervisor:
- Supervision and Training: Oversee, train, and evaluate direct care staff.
- Service Coordination and Client Placement: Ensure clients receive all services, maintain occupancy rates, and place new clients within 24 hours.
- Assessments and Service Plans: Conduct initial and medical assessments, develop service plans, and perform quarterly reassessments.
- Psychosocial Assessments: Perform initial and annual psychosocial assessments.
- Oversight of Services: Oversee mental health, substance abuse services, primary medical care, and other necessary services.
- Benefits and Compliance: Ensure clients obtain and maintain benefits and compliance with documentation.
- Staff Supervision: Regularly supervise staff performance and maintain quality assurance documents.
- Team Meetings: Conduct weekly interdisciplinary team case conferences and supervisory meetings.
- Intake and Referrals: Arrange intake interviews and provide updates on new referrals.
- Licensure: New York State Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years supervising a case management team, with experience in counseling individuals with mental illness.
- Skills and Attributes: Experience working with homeless populations preferred; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
