Loan Officer Assistant - Loan Partner I
Starting pay rate ranges between $20 to $23/hr DOE plus the potential to earn bonuses.
This position reports to our Hawaii branch but is offered as a fully remote role. You must be able to work a standard business schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm HST. Experience working with Hawaii Loans and Encompass is a must.
We have an exciting opportunity for an outgoing, organized, detail-oriented professional who is interested in building a career in the world of mortgage and real estate. The Loan Partner I is a pivotal role that provides administrative and technical support within the mortgage loan file to the busy producing branch managers to assist in making the borrower’s dream of homeownership a reality.
What this role is responsible for:
- Monitor and manage communication on behalf of your Loan Officer as needed.
- Assist the Loan Officer with putting together the Loan Application.
- Complete loan set up in Encompass within the expected timeframe.
- Complete and verify the checklist and CCI for disclosures, documents, needs list, anticipated or confirmed program/investor, etc.
- Order appraisals, preliminaries, verifications and other validations as required for the loan file.
- Prepare and send out LEs (Loan Estimates)
- Represent and be the "face" of the Team in a professional, outgoing and upbeat manner.
- 1 year of current or recent (within last 12 months) experience working in a set up, processing or LOA role with a retail mortgage lender
- Experience with conventional and government loan products required. Experience with Hawaii loans a must.
- Encompass experience a must
- Familiarity with loan applications, credit reports and other financial documents used in the lending process
- MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent organization, attention to detail and time management skills.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- World class customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work a standard business schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm HST
