Member Business Financial Services, L.L.P. (MBFS), a credit union-owned company, is looking for a Loan Portfolio Analyst (Remote). This position will manage the annual review process and renewals of the existing commercial loan portfolio for Member Business Financial Services, LLC (MBFS).
Portfolio management includes reporting, monitoring, and analyzing the industry, geography, segmentations, and credit concentrations associated with the portfolio. Provide customer service support primarily to internal customers and manage the maintenance of the portfolio's risk ratings. Oversee loan level and portfolio level analysis to monitor and report performance. Support management, processing and reporting requirements associated with various credit union clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Manage loan portfolios (includes maintaining several reports to monitor trends in the loan portfolio).
- Oversee loans with potential credit weakness.
- Manage annual loan reviews and renewal write-up process.
- Determine whether the lending policy and procedures are being followed by employees.
- Review loans for compliance issues, including real estate and commercial loans.
- Assign appropriate risk ratings based upon credit facility reviews.
- Verify quality, completeness and accuracy of supporting loan documentation and analysis.
- Perform upkeep of documentation checklist - Consists of updated list of all financials possessed by each client's financial institution (eg. Personal financial statement, personal tax return, corporate tax return).
- Perform assessment of adherence to internal credit policies and loan administration procedures.
- Manage financial reporting and covenant tracking.
- Review overdue financials and exceptions monthly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One or more years of similar or related experience.
- Requires professional, well-developed interpersonal skills essential for interacting with credit union clients and staff members and managing routine customer service tasks while projecting a positive image as representative of the CUSO.
- Requires proficiency in the use of loan servicing platforms, loan documentation platforms, and Microsoft Office products; nCino knowledge a plus
- Work requires knowledge of member business loan policy, credit granting criteria, interest rates and how they are computed, and required documentation for each type of loan.
