Loan Processor - Spherion

Spherion Staffing in Lakeland has partnered with a local lending company who is looking for a skilled Loan Processor to join their growing team.

Day Shift Schedule
Temp-to-Perm opportunity

Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily loan processing needs and helps to manage our multi-entity loan activities.
- Orders title work, appraisals, credit reports, and other like documents to complete loan requirements.
- Performs prior to closing audits to ensure documentation is complete and the terms meet approved criteria and policies.
- Communicates and resolves audit exceptions in conjunction with management and the loan manager, as applicable.
- Prepare loan documents for real estate closings, check documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Manage day of closings timeline; ensure wires are received, approve funding, etc.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Real estate, title, or legal knowledge.
- Ability to elicit, interpret, analyze and evaluate given information relative to underwriting guidelines and lender requirements.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of all aspects of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize online software applications.
- Excellent communication skills and above-average organizational skills.
- Keeping up with assigned tasks and follow-through is extremely important.
- Self-motivated.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2-3 years of related experience and/or training
- General knowledge of loan processing and underwriting fundamentals
- Valid driver???s license and means of transportation required.
