Loan Processor at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Loan Processor for a startup nonprofit in Raleigh. The Loan Processor will act as an intermediary between a borrower and a lender, helping applicants obtain loans for various projects and payments. This is a part time position, 20-30 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• Gather client information, including employment status, assets, debts, and salaries, to accurately complete loan applications.
• Respond to underwriter requests for additional information to support loan applications.
• Keep applicants and contractors informed about the status and progress of the loan application process.
• Remain informed about lending practices and financial services.
• Collaborate with solar, HVAC, and home repair contractors to gather supporting documents for loan approval.
• Ensure compliance with established regulations and legal requirements throughout the loan processing.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of finance experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
• Ability to quickly develop proficiency in banking and loan processing software.
• Excellent communication and sales skills, with a focus on balancing customer satisfaction and achieving results.
• Background in renewable energy, green building, construction terms, or production schedules is a plus.
