About the Job
We are seeking a Loan Processor for the Sustainable Home Processing Department.
The primary role of the Sustainable Home Lending Loan Processor is to audit and fund retail installment contracts received from merchants. The incumbent is accountable for creating an exceptional stakeholder (Merchants, Members, and Employees) experience by serving as the primary point of contact for loan packages assigned for funding. To achieve this objective, the processor must possess a high level of knowledge of all products, rate sheets and funding requirements. They must be able to obtain the knowledge required to understand the multiple systems required that provide ancillary documents for closing. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Highlights:
- Audit and fund contracts that meet the departments guidelines and Underwriter stipulations
- Produce high quality loans files as evidenced by quality control audits
- Perform a variety of customer service related tasks by providing information and assistance to both external/internal customers and office personnel via telephone, email, or letter inquires
- Send out first payment letters and applicable disclosures
- Pre-audit loan package and confirm compliance with all internal and external requirements
- Develop cross functional trusting relationships and identify opportunities for process improvements
Experience:
Required
- 1 – 2 years’ customer service experience
- Auto, mortgage or consumer finance or comparable loan processing experience
Education:
Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Skills & Knowledge:
Required
- Proficient PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Work independently and with other team members
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to develop and manage multiple projects
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
