Loan Specialist II - LCE - First Federal Bank

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review designated documents (third party reports, loan approval, insurance, etc.), collected by the processor, in order to approve a CGGL loan for closing and funding.
• Processes new loans
• Prepares necessary SBA forms and bank forms for creating new loans
• Prepares documents and orders third party reports for construction related loans
• Works with closing attorneys
• Works directly with customers
• Orders and reviews third party reports
• Request updated financial information from borrowers
• Provide support for bank clients regarding origination
• Expert in at least one or more of the following aspects of SBA/USDA origination, commercial loan processing, servicing, liquidation areas. Employee will have a comprehensive understanding of Standard Operating Procedures for all aspects of Government Guaranteed Lending.

• Cross train with operations and servicing departments

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent organizational skills, quality customer service skills, including verbal, phone, and written communications. Ability to deal with time constraints, strong attention to detail, and must be able to multi task. Solid understanding of financial institution policies and procedures. Knowledge of SBA policies and procedures preferred. The primary job function of this role is loan processing. This includes gathering necessary information for loan closing, working with closing attorneys to obtain title work and schedule loan closings, preparing loan documents, preparing SBA documents, ordering and reviewing third party reports, setting up construction documentation, and directly working with loan customers. Three years' experience working in a commercial loan operations field preferred. Commercial loan documentation knowledge required. Extended hours sitting and performing computer tasks will be required.
