Help us deliver the dough that’s the heart and soul of Panera. All of our routes are local—with no over-the-road trips—so you’ll be home every day to enjoy life with your family and friends.

As a CDL Driver for Panera’s Fresh Dough Facility, your job is to:

• Ensure that every bakery-cafe on your route has the fresh bagel, roll, and bread dough they need in time to start the baking process each day.
• Provide great customer service to the cafes and represent Panera well to guests.
• Load and unload rolling bakery cabinets filled with dough onto well-maintained, clean vehicles and into assigned bakery-cafes using reefer units and lift gates.
• Perform safe, efficient, on-time deliveries.
• Help build our culture of Warmth, Belonging, Growth, and Trust with every pickup and delivery.

Qualified applicants will have:

• Proven ability to work independently while performing a variety of production tasks
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnights and weekends, depending on business needs

You must meet these requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 6 months CDL-A tractor trailer driving experience
• Valid Class A CDL license (doubles endorsement is preferred)
• Able to obtain a one-year DOT medical card upon employment
• Able to successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment driving, and background check

You must meet the following physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Able to manipulate equipment utilizing manual dexterity
• Able to stand, walk, squat, and sit for long periods of time
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions
• Able to push and lift items with varying degrees of weight. (Occasional pushing of cabinets up to 400 pounds with or without assistance is required.)
• Able to perform repetitive motions with upper extremities.
• Please note that the work environment requires a tolerance to variations in temperature and exposure to food products, as well as the ability to navigate both indoor and outdoor working environments with a wide range of weather conditions and surfaces.
