Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Aurora, COEmployment Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeJob Description:I am seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLP will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and parents to assess students' communication needs, develop and implement therapy plans, and support students in achieving academic and social success.Key Responsibilities:Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with students’ needs.Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings to address areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language development.Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school administrators to integrate speech-language interventions into classroom activities.Monitor student progress, adjust therapy interventions, and document outcomes.Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations on interventions and accommodations to support student learning and communication development.Provide training and guidance to teachers and parents on communication strategies to use in classrooms and at home.Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid Colorado SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Previous experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Passion for helping students improve their communication skills and succeed in school.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Access to modern resources and a supportive educational environment.If you’re willing to help, you can reach me at my direct line at 843-502-5095.
