Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: East Boston, MAJob Type: Full-TimePosition Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team in East Boston, MA. The SLP will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders, helping them overcome challenges related to speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet each student’s unique needs.Key Responsibilities:Conduct assessments and evaluations of students to diagnose speech and language disorders.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs to support student communication needs.Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support the student’s speech and language development in the classroom and at home.Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.Educate and train staff, teachers, and parents on speech and language strategies to help students succeed.Stay current on best practices, research, and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement plan with employer contributions.Paid time off, including holidays and school vacations.Professional development opportunities and support for continuing education.A collaborative and supportive work environment.I’m so excited to hear from you!
