Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Glendale, COEmployment Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeJob Description:I am seeking an experienced and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication challenges in students, helping them achieve academic success and build strong communication skills. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff is essential to ensuring students receive well-rounded support.Key Responsibilities:Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students from PreK-12.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), tailored to each student’s needs.Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings for areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and social communication.Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to integrate speech-language therapy into classroom settings and daily activities.Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed to ensure continued improvement.Participate in IEP meetings, offering recommendations for interventions, accommodations, and supports that help students thrive.Train and support teachers and parents on communication strategies to be used in the classroom and at home to reinforce therapy outcomes.Stay current with the latest research, methods, and practices in speech-language pathology.Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid Colorado SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Dedication to supporting students’ communication development and academic growth.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Access to modern therapy tools and a supportive school environment.I’d be so happy to hop on the line with you and discuss your career goals.
