Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Sanborn, NHEmployment Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeJob Description:I am seeking a motivated and caring Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of communication disorders, working collaboratively with school staff and families to support students in achieving academic and social success. This role is essential for fostering students’ communication skills, helping them thrive in both educational and social environments.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from PreK-12.Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student’s specific needs.Provide direct speech-language therapy in both individual and group settings, targeting areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language development.Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to integrate speech-language goals into classroom instruction and activities.Monitor student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed to ensure continuous improvement.Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for interventions and accommodations that support student success.Train and support educators and parents on strategies to encourage speech and language development in the classroom and home environments.Stay informed on best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid New Hampshire SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Previous experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Dedication to helping students improve their communication skills and achieve academic success.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Supportive work environment with access to modern therapy tools and resources.If you’re willing to help, you can reach me at my direct line at 843-502-5095.
