Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Springfield, OHJob Type: Full-TimePosition Overview:Springfield, OH is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide comprehensive therapy services to students. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders while collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' needs are met effectively.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings to address speech and language issues.Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals and support students in achieving their educational objectives.Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations based on assessments and observations.Provide consultation and training to teachers and parents on strategies to support speech and language development.Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology and best practices in the field.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.Valid Ohio licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.Experience working with school-aged children preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.If you’re willing to help, you can reach me at my direct line at 843-502-5095.
