Local Fixture Installer - Apollo

• Complete department resets, remodels, and new store setups with custom fixture assembly requirements.
• Build gondolas, H Frame warehouse racking, and other specialty fixtures on the main store floor and/or backroom warehouse.
• Complex merchandising-related tasks such as stock placement to planogram reset, resetting metal shelves, setting an end cap to planogram.
• Read and follow installation documents, including guides and manuals like planograms, modular and fixture layout documents.
• Maintain retailer-specific online certifications.
• Demonstrate safe usage of fixture installer tools including but not limited to: a cordless drill, a hammer drill, a tape measure, a level, various screwdriver types, rubber mallet, etc.
• Read and interpret store blueprints and plans.
• Use construction knowledge to determine the best methods of installation, work procedures, and material and tool requirements.
• Arrive on time and work scheduled hours, which may include both overnight and day shifts per client requirements and shift lengths lasting 8 to 10+ hours. (shift length will vary by project)
• Adapt to changing work schedule.

• Must have reliable transportation to travel to multiple locations in a designated area or region (dependent on market location) for 1 to 6 weeks at time.
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and Apollo management team (good communication = more shifts)
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
• Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use personal hand tools or power tools as necessary. 
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools or power tools as necessary.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be local to Chicago.
