Position Description:
- Leads execution of a coordinated marketing deployment across key accounts and regional markets, as well as the planning and execution of all the promotional programs to support the overall cilta-cel brand position in targeted markets.
- Ensures coordination with sales leadership, key account management, market access, and alliance partners to optimize and track the local promotional effort.
- Evaluates local marketing trends, field/customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market research to use personal or non-personal channels strategies to disproportionately benefit cilta-cel. This includes local payer dynamics, employer dynamics, competitive landscape, referral patterns and other factors that affect product and brand choice.
- Leverage local insights to then create sales assets based on patterns/approaches for outreach from academic accounts. This will entail strong collaboration with the Marketing professional promotion team as well as external agencies, key internal stakeholders, and cross functional groups within the organization.
- Develop and Operationalize Cilta-cel channel strategy for Oncology community practice strategy. Additionally, build and develop hospital outpatient models for authorized district accounts.
- Partner with Insights & Analytics to ensure the capturing of aggregated field insights and learnings to assess the effectiveness of our strategies and areas where the strategy needs to evolve.
- Work productively with to determine resources and programs that can address customer needs.
- Track, metric and evaluate regional performance and advise on corrections as needed.
- Leads local field training needs during the launch of CARVYKTI (both 1:1 and group training as appropriate). This includes product, market, competitive, and operational curriculum.
- Facilitates workshops at National and Regional meetings by coordinating efforts, materials, and participants while maximizing engagement and effectively enhancing OS learning.
- Educate staff and local community sites on affordability and economic considerations for CART treatment for patients and treaters.
- Support patient care and transition between sites of care to optimize patient adherence and remove local operational barriers.
- Build, cultivate and grow long-term relationships with Local KOLs to drive EE planning at local, regional conferences and other venues.
- Ensures compliance with HCC and Company guidelines.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; MBA preferred.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience, including pharmaceutical and healthcare knowledge
- At least 5 years of successful and progressive experience in Sales, Marketing, Sales Training, Managed Care Account Management, Pricing and/or related fields is preferred.
- Demonstrated people management experience is preferred.
- Experience in oncology and Multiple Myeloma is preferred.
- Track record of innovation and a high EQ, someone who can connect shape, lead, and deliver.
- Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies is required.
- Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities and have excellent overall business acumen and strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience in data interpretation/analytics experience as preferred.
- Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, plan accordingly, and execute on deliverables.
- Can operate in two worlds - big picture orientation with attention to detail.
- Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel, advanced communication, presentation, and facilitation skills are required.
- A valid driver's license issued in the United States is required.
This is a CAR-T field sales role that reports into the CAR-T Field Sales Business Director. This is a field-based position and will be required up to 50% travel within the U.S.
The base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200. The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. This position is eligible for a company car through the Company's FLEET program. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
