We are hiring an experienced cardiac perfusionist for a locum assignment for a minimum of 13 weeks in Beautiful Nebraska! This is a full time, 13 week assignment with the opportunity to extend! Paid Mal Practice, Lodging, Travel, Mileage/Rental Car and MUCH MORE! Cases: Cardiopulmonary bypass for cardiac surgery, TAVR support, autotransfusion, ecmo initiation/decannulation and trasports, HIPEC and isolated limb perfusion, Impella and IABP support, left heart bypass, veno-veno bypass for liver transplantation, platelet gel, lung lavage, answering pager for stat needs.
The candidate shall need to be able to have experience with roller pump cpb, ecmo, LVAD procedures and autolog autotransfusion. The more expience the better. Must have excellent communication skills and do well under pressure and tense situations. Must be a self starter and thrive in a high paced environment. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion and licensed in one state in the USA. Would prefer licensure in Nebraska for Perfusionist but could obtain a temporary license.
Day shift 6:45am-3:15pm; may need to expand to cover other shifts as needed in the future
Most work is located in the OR, cath lab and CVICU, although there are times the perfusionist works in the ED, and other locations.
Usually 4 open heart rooms each day with 2-3 other rooms needing autotransfusion; ECMO rounding and transports;
