Are you a passionate and dedicated Gastroenterologist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry? We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic team. This role will offer the right candidate the opportunity to utilize their extensive knowledge and skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. As a Locum Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with digestive system disorders and diseases. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals dedicated to providing top-quality patient care.
Clinic + Procedures!
Schedule: 8am-5pm (Can be flexible)
Starting as soon as credentialed- ongoing full-time need!
Seeking a full time Locums GI Physician to work in in clinic and procedure setting.
Patients per day: 15
Skills/Cases:
-with biopsy
-with foreign body removal
-with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs laser)
-with injection of varices
-flexible
-rigid
-with biopsy
-with excision of polyp
Certs required:
BLS
ACLS
DEA
Must be WI licensed or IMLC!
Support Staff:
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
EMR: Epic

-with biopsy
-with foreign body removal
-with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs laser)
-with injection of varices
- ERCP Preferred
- Esophageal dilation/manometry preferred
- Small Bowel biopsy preferred
- Lower GI endoscopy preferred
- Sigmoidoscopy preferred
-flexible
-rigid
- Colonoscopy Required
-with biopsy
-with excision of polyp
- EUS preferred
- Liver Biopsy preferred
- Provider will supervise APP
Certs required:
BLS
ACLS
DEA
Must be WI licensed or IMLC!
Support Staff:
- 1 RN
- 1 Mas
- 1 NP/PA
- 2 Office Staff
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
EMR: Epic
Other Notes:
- Days and hours are flexible, but roughly 8-5 in clinic. Currently it is a mix of clinic and procedure days.
- No call
- Clinic patient load is approx. 15/day
- Procedures will depend on the type, provider speed, etc.
- Anesthesia is available.
