**Experience:** Minimum ICU experience required

**License:** Must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner

**Certifications:** ACLS required

**Must-Have:**
- Procedures experience in central lines, arterial lines, intubations, and paracentesis (maybe)
- Ability to work night shifts and cover open dates
- Consideration for PA with ICU experience
- Consideration for ARNP and ACNP; FNP will depend on experience level

**Job Description:**

- Provide critical care support in the ICU on a night shift schedule
- Collaborate with a critical care physician who is on call for backup
- Handle 6-8 patient encounters per shift
- Ensure coverage until a permanent provider is hired
- Perform required procedures such as central and arterial line placement, intubations, and potentially paracentesis
- Work in a Level 3 trauma facility with 14 beds in the department
- Participate in orientation with 150 hours allocated for training
- Opportunity for temporary privileges for expedited credentialing
