Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Hematology and Oncology in Vermont at LocumTenens.com

A Health system is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
While on assignment in Southern Vermont, visit the Dover Town Forest Trail for hiking or visit Scott Farm and go apple picking or ziplining!
The practice is outpatient with low inpatient consults, where nurse practitioners round on oncology patients. The patient mix is 60% oncology and 40% hematology. The call schedule is 1-2 nights per week and a weekend onsite or call ratio of 1:4. Work hours are 8 AM to 5 PM for four days, including a weekly cancer case conference. Support staff includes one oncologist, two APRNs, and additional nursing and administrative staff. The EMR is GE Centricity, with credentialing taking about 120 days; candidates must be board certified or board eligible.
