- DEA (or willing to obtain)

- Excellent communication skills
- Strong commitment to providing excellent care to a vulnerable population
- Knowledge and experience with wound care and ostomies
**Job Description:**
- Full-time days position with no weekends and no call responsibilities
- Responsibilities include both inpatient and outpatient care
- Work closely with colorectal and urology surgeons for pre-surgery site markings
- Provide education to patients and their families on ostomies, life adaptations, and follow-up care
- Conduct thorough assessments of ostomy patients, evaluating wound status, skin integrity, and overall health
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote optimal wound healing
- Provide patient education on ostomy care techniques, skin maintenance, and prevention of complications
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of treatment
- Utilize evidence-based practices and advanced wound care techniques to promote healing and prevent infection
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes according to regulatory standards and hospital protocols
