Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Internal Medicine - $80 to $90 per hour in Providence, RI - Curative

A healthcare facility in Rhode Island is looking for an Internal Medicine/Family Practice APP or physician to provide 2024 team coverage. 

Practice Setting

• Outpatient medical setting
• Patients are primarily aged 65+
• Average volume of 16-18 patients per day
• Support from an MD, Nurse Practitioners, MA/scribe support, and RNs
  
  
  
  • Charting: Canopy/Greenway
  
  

Cases and Procedures:

• Traditional primary care for older patients (diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, mild cognitive impairment, CHF, history of coronary artery disease)
  
  
  
  • No procedures required
  
  

Schedule:

• 3-month initial assignment
• Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (4-day workweek considered)
  
  
  
  • No call requirements 
  
  

Requirements:

• Board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice physician
• DEA certification
• Rhode Island medical license
