A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Hialeah, FL.
The full-time position spans 4 weeks per month within a 10 MD/23 CRNA anesthesia care team model. Physicians are required to take in-house call with 24-hour shifts, receiving the post-call day off. The first call rotation is 1 in 8, and cardiac beeper backup call is 1 in 4. Cases include OB (around 200 cases with a 40% C-section rate), healthy pediatrics (10 years or older or over 100 lbs), endoscopy, neuro, ophthalmology, ENT, extensive vascular, VBACs, thoracic, outpatient, regional, orthopedic, general surgery, podiatry, bariatrics, oncology surgery, gynecology, plastic surgery, IR, and cardiac.
