Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Anesthesiology in Pontiac, IL at Austin Major Group

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide locum coverage in Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional looking for full-time or part-time work in a supportive hospital environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide anesthesia services for surgical cases
  • Supervise CRNAs and handle cases after hours
  • Occasional intubation and central line placement for floor patients (rare)
• No on-call requirement
• Estimated Shifts: 20 shifts per month
• EMR System: EPIC
• Privileges: Full and temporary privileges available (approx. 60 days to complete)
• Location: Illinois

Provider Requirements:

• Board Status: Board Certified (MD/DO)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Illinois CSR License, and DEA required
• State License: Illinois state license required
