**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**License:** Board Certification Required
**Certifications:**
- Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
**Must-Have:**
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Privileges
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) Skills
- Open and Endoscopic Cardiac/Thoracic Surgery
**Job Description:**
- Provide in-house coverage for cardio-thoracic surgery, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m
to 5 p.m
- Possible weekend coverage from Friday 5 p.m
to Monday 7 a.m
across multiple facilities
- Perform a variety of surgeries including coronary artery bypass surgery (on-pump and off-pump) and managing congenital defects
- Preferred experience in valvular repair/replacement and aneurysm repair
- Handle lung resections, chest wall, and pleural procedures, along with surgeries of the esophagus and diaphragm
- Experience in permanent pacemaker placement and using left ventricular assist devices is preferred
- Must be able to manage acute volume/BP issues, ventilator management, and insertion of lines and catheters
- Credentialing expected to be completed within 90 days
- Coverage needed during specified dates in November and December
