General surgery call coverage needed at our 250 bed academic community hospital. The facility has over 175 physicians and allied health professionals and provides over 25 medical specialties.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active Virginia Medical License
• Active Virginia DEA

Practice Setting:

• 250 Bed Academic Hospital
• 24 Hour call
  • Hospitalist may request a consult
  • Emergency Room provider may request a consult
  • Request from another surgeon to assist with emergency surgery

Schedule:

• 24 hour call
• Response time must be within 30 minutes
• 7am-7am
