Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Hospitalist in New Jersey, NJ at GQR Healthcare

Responsibilities:

• Full-time coverage (5x8 – 8:30AM – 4:30PM), no on-call duties.
• Daily rounds for 2-4 patients, with additional rounds as needed.
• Occasional weekend coverage. 1x month
• Independent work, no NP/PA support

Requirements:

• Comfortable treating all patients. Majority of cases are chronic.
• Experience in community hospital and office-based practice. Must have behavioral health/psych experience.
• Proficient in diagnosing and prescribing psych meds.
• NJ Licensed, Board Certified, BLS certified.
• Fingerprinting required.

Additional Info:

• 6-month assignment.
• Onsite security available.
• Corrections/ state hospital experience preferred.

Ideal candidates can handle challenging situations and are knowledgeable about psych meds.
