Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Ophthalmology in Grand Rapids, MI at S3 Connections LLC

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ophthalmologist to join one of our facility's healthcare team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and conditions related to the eye. You will play a key role in improving patients' vision and overall eye health, providing both surgical and non-surgical care, and helping to restore quality of life for patients with vision impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a variety of eye diseases, including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other eye conditions.
• Perform eye surgeries such as cataract removal, glaucoma correction, refractive surgery (LASIK), and other advanced surgical procedures.
• Conduct routine eye examinations, including visual acuity tests, refraction tests, and slit-lamp exams.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, or medications as needed for vision correction or treatment of eye conditions.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists and other physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Educate patients on proper eye care and preventive measures to maintain eye health.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmic care and techniques.
