A facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
Southern Arizona goes by the name of Gadsden which means "Lower Arizona" in Spanish! While on assignment, visit the Saguaro National Park if you are interested in hiking, or visit the Pima Air & Space Museum!
The position involves supporting the cardiothoracic surgeon with pre- and post-operative patients in the CVICU. Candidates must have a background in cardiothoracic surgery or ICU, as the role does not include first assisting and has no call responsibilities. The facility has 252 beds and handles up to 15 patients per day, with admissions required. Cerner is the EMR system in use.
