Position Title: Logistician, Acquisition

Position Description
As a Logistician you will be expected to independently complete tasks received from Project Managers, Senior Logisticians, and other contract management personnel. The selected candidate will perform logistic program activities from the conceptual stage through life cycle sustainment of the fielded products. This position develops and implements logistics program activities including oversight of technical and logistics documentation, provisioning, material fielding plans, supply support, configuration control, and supports the staffing of acquisition documentation through the milestone decision cycle.

Position Description

Responsibilities
- Experience providing technical guidance and support on Acquisition Logistics Support to Program Managers
- DoD 5000 requirements experience and familiarity with the 12 elements of Integrated Product Support
- Experience developing and updating Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) and supporting documentation
- Experience Analyzing, Developing, and Implementing Supportability Strategies and identifying opportunities to reduce lifecycle Operations and Support costs
- Knowledge and experience with CDRL development and update; Review of contractor product support documentation submissions
- Experience supporting the development of Life Cycle Cost Estimates
- Knowledge and experience establishing government depot maintenance and repair capability
- Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers, and managers to successfully complete procurement tasks while maintaining directed costs and schedules.
- Prepare accurate reports for management and staff.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, quality, consistently, and professionalism
- Minimum 5 years of experience in acquisition logistics
- Proven experience with the acquisition lifecycle, lifecycle logistics, product support or other related experience
- Must be fluent with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams and Outlook
- DAWIA Level III Certifications
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU)
- ACQ 1010 – Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management
- LOG 100 – Life Cycle Logistics Fundamentals
