SUMMARY:
The Logistics Business Process Analyst ispart of the Corporate Logistics Thermal Management team located in Troy, MI. Responsibility of the team includes, but is not limited to, the establishment of the Logistics vision, mission, strategies, processes, procedures, training/development and compliance thereof with oversight of our 10 manufacturing plants in North America. This is a specialty role that involves honing the "thinking process". BPAs draw inferences from process details and link these inferences to the big picture by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes of Logistics and its interaction with other departments such as Purchasing, Packaging, Quality and Production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Modeling processes by interacting with MAHLE Central and Plant Logistics, Packaging, Purchasing, Production, Process Planning or Quality Process Owners who know key detail until the improvement or automated process is implemented.
- Hold meetings, research processes, collect data, analyze information and perform related tasks.
- Interact and make decisions with both MAHLE Central and Plant Logistics, Packaging, Purchasing, Production and Quality to eliminate bottlenecks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze both in real time and historically how a process runs based on predefined KPI's and create a positive trend.
- Analyze business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated.
- Map existing Central and Plant Logistics, Packaging, Purchasing, Production and Quality processes and design improved ones.
- Facilitate process workshops and document any information elicited using process maps and business requirements procedures and present new process designs to stakeholders for discussion.
- Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business process.
- Oversee North America Plants Inventory and Consignment Management and collaborate with Plant Logistics with actions to reduce inventory to meet budget and forecast.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Supply Chain Management or an Engineering Discipline is Required
- 5 or more years of experinece in Inventory Management, Freight Analysis, Warehouse Management, Material Flow and/or basic Packaging Concepts is Required
- Manufacturing / Production Floor / Plant experinece within the Automotive Industry is Required
- Demonstrated proficiency with SAP is Required
- LEAN / Six Sigman / Green Belt Certification is a Plus
- Demonstrated Business Analysis skills
- Strong Communication, Problem Solving and Critical Thinking experience
- Ability to travel 10-20% (Domestic and International)
