About the Job
Supports the day-to-day operations of the shipments containing clinical trial supplies and samples.
The "Logistics Coordinator Tracking ensures a high level of support, service, reliability, and
availability to internal departments.
Ensures efficient and effective operations of the section
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required and minimum of two years general logistics experience with clinical
trials required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with
the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
" Excellent client and phone service skills
" Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and laboratory principal's pre-analytical, analytic and post-analytic
influences on specimens and results Intermediate level of computer literacy
" Accurate data entry skills
" Superior analytical, interpersonal and time management skills
" Excellent verbal communications and customer service skills in the English language - additional languages
are an advantage
" Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support quality decision making
" Proven negotiation and problem resolution skills
" Maintains confidentiality of client protocols and study data
Additional / Specific Job Responsibilities:
Reports to Team Lead Site Services or above
Direct point of contact for couriers for shipping, tracking, receiving, and reporting concerns related to
inbound and outbound supply shipments.
Responsible for the tracking and follow up of all 3PL sample shipments and shipments
Responsible for reviewing and reporting of daily supply order delays to the Project Management and/or
designee.
Participates to Courier operational meetings and reports to Senior Level/Team Lead/Manager any issue or
concern regarding courier operations
Supports the site services logistics coordinators
Coordinate the review and action required on custom reports
o Request
o Review
o Action/Follow Up
Supports in the investigation and solving of Quality Events
o Delayed or missing shipments
o All courier events and failures
