Description
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a client of ours in Bellevue, Washington. This role is within the wholesale distribution industry and will offer a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our warehouse partners, processing invoices, conducting inventory counts, and ensuring all warehouse related operations run smoothly. This is a hybrid position with some in office days required in the office in Bellevue.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of warehouse accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all warehouse-related issues.
- Monitor and ensure service level expectations are met by warehouse partners.
- Handle invoice processing, spot checking amounts, and resolving any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular cycle count and physical inventory counts, addressing any variants in inventory.
- Review ERP transactions and warehouse transactions, ensuring they match and rectifying any discrepancies.
- Coordinate the packaging of materials and shipping of orders in communication with the customer service group.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with warehouse providers, holding both internal and external stakeholders accountable.
- Manage the processing of all warehousing damage and loss claims.
- Identify, implement, and manage processes and process improvements to ensure successful daily execution of all warehousing operations.
- Partner with Supply Chain Analyst and Supply Chain Manager to align warehousing functions and processes with broader department goals.
Requirements - Proven experience in the wholesale distribution industry
- Proficiency in using Business Systems and Cargowise
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
- Knowledge and experience with ERP Solutions and About Time software
- Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Familiarity with customs procedures and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Ability to handle stressful situations and high-pressure deadlines calmly and effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- Previous experience in logistics coordination or a similar role is a plus.
