About the Job
Position Title: Logistics Coordinator
Wage: $19.00 - $21.00/Hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM OR 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Monday - Friday
We are looking for several Logistics Coordinators for a warehouse in Cedar Rapids to manage freight orders, schedule deliveries, and coordinate with supply chain partners
The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to facility customers
- Schedule inbound and outbound delivery appointments
- Oversee the flow of paperwork between the shipping, receiving office, and warehouse
- Check in drivers and direct them to designated doors for unloading/loading
- Remove and place seals on trailer doors as needed
- Maintain and track delivery appointments to ensure timely operations
- Resolve customer issues and address any conflicts related to deliveries
- Maintain and update load and order status in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Handle claims related to overages, shortages, or damages
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide necessary information
- Maintain and monitor customer KPI scorecards to track service performance
Requirements For Logistics Coordinator:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; customer service experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- SAP Experience is preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Demonstrated customer service experience in a business-to-business environment
