Pay Range: $20-$25 per hour on W2
Requirements:
Associates or HS Diploma with 2 years of experience.
Transportation logistics/supply chain experience, previously worked with carrier/broker service, manufacturing setting- inbound/outbound shipping, create shipments/booking carriers, strong communication, problem resolution, crisis intervention, punctuality.
SUMMARY:
The Senior Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating timely commercial, military and international finished goods and support parts shipments.
This role will also determine the most cost-effective method to ensure timely delivery to our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Field daily inquires for in and outbound shipments as needed.
Create, assign, and manage shipments in commercial and government transportation management systems.
File and maintain all shipping documentation.
Provide administrative support for supply chain and logistics teams.
Train and mentor other Logistics team member on freight shipments.
Maintain departmental reports, metrics, and records.
Escalate shipment delays or other execution concerns where needed.
MINIMUM:
Associate degree with one (1) year of relative experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED:
Logistics experience within the manufacturing industry.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
Time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
