A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOGISTICS MANAGER
Our Logistics Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day logistics operations supporting the organization's logistics objectives. This is a key role on the logistics team as you will drive performance and improvements in quality, cost, and delivery while managing the logistics network on a regional, continental, and global level.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LOGISTICS MANAGER
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations
- Demonstrated experience implementing and using logistics software
- Local to the Livonia, MI area
- Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred, although progressive related work experience will be considered.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position requires working Monday - Friday during typical business hours when the business clients that you support are also working. Once training is complete there will be a hybrid option available where you could work from home a few days per month. Occasional travel (0-10%) may be expected.
While this role has no permanent supervisory duties if the Sr. Logistics Manager is unavailable this role would assume the duties.
